I’m a rabid Beaver hoops fan who lost track of my beloved team after I left Corvallis and my college days in the late 80′s/early 90′s.  I’ve lived 12 of my 40 years in Corvallis, but military assignments and making my way professionally in the world placed me in locations which made it almost impossible to follow my team.

I was running the baseline as an infant during Ralph Miller’s first game at OSU, and I was in the student section for his last.  I’ve recently moved back to Oregon and settled down with a new family, so I don’t expect to miss out on much in the future.

The 2007-08 OSU hoops season was the most egregious display of apathy I have ever witnessed, and my loathing for Jay John pretty much shocked me into the realization that I had been somewhat apathetic myself.

Well no more!  I thirsted for a local news/blog outlet for my Beavs, but never found one with true local touch or correct information… or both.  I’m not going to tell you that I am the ultimate source for everything Beavs Hoops.  I’m not even going to suggest that I’m right all the time.  But I know two boat-loads about basketball, and I know my team.  Unless I source the subjects themselves, then please take what I say as editorial content… nothing else.

If my analysis seems too much like tough love sometimes… tough.  If it seems a little too romantic or nostalgic… tough.  If I’m wrong about something, then clear rebuttals are welcomed.  I love spirited debate.

But please remember that this is intended to be PG rated… or thereabout.  I will allow mild profanity, but please no personal attacks, stalking or other like immature or illegal acts.
