Kevin Johnson – 6’10″, 240, C, San Juan Capistrano, Ca (Junipero Serra)
Johnson is a project on the court. He has tremendous upside given his size and athletic ability, but he has yet to put it all together. He runs hot and cold depending on emotion, and he’ll need to learn to control that at the next level. He really doesn’t have any great offensive skill. But he is an immovable object when he takes his place on the low post. And his length and strength gives him a good defensive skill set. If he ends up in a system which teaches him patience and discipline he could be a scary player on the D-I level.
